ABOUT US

National Service Scheme, abbreviated as NSS is a community-service oriented organisation launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary Year (1969) which has annexed its territory overseas as well now. NSS provides a platform for the students to build their character through community service, a wonderful chance to connect them with the soil and even an amazing opportunity to become a better human being. It also helps in cultivating a sense of responsibility and belongingness among the society.

NSS, Shri Ram College of Commerce, as a unit of NSS, involves students and faculty into nation building by organising various activities throughout the year. The NSS team organises a series of events by fragmenting themselves into 11 different wings, yet one can say it’s the most united unit in the College.
NSS, SRCC organises different activities like imparting education to underprivileged children, organising organ donation awareness fest, blood donation camps, visit to slums, visit to hospitals etc.
