WHO ARE WE
National Service Scheme, abbreviated as NSS is a community-service oriented organisation launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary Year (1969) which has annexed its territory overseas as well now. NSS provides a platform for the students to build their character through community service, a wonderful chance to connect them with the soil and even an amazing opportunity to become a better human being. It also helps in cultivating a sense of responsibility and belongingness among the society.

You Can Make a Difference
Internship Programmes
We conduct two internship programmes for two of our projects, Project Sanskar and Project Vishwas. The seed that gave birth to these internship programmes was to ensure the functionality of these Projects during the Delhi University Summer break. We have successfully conducted three internship programmes of Project Sanskar and one of Project Vishwas.
Collaboration with Organisations
We have successfully collaborated with NGOs and organisations working in harmony with our cause. Over the years, we have tried to grow our network and expand our base. We have associated with NOTTO, You We Can, Kailash Satyarthi Foundation, Goonj, Pink Chain, Akshay Patra and Josh Talks to name a few. It is just the beginning; we aim to collaborate with even more organisations in future and keep on taking our legacy of ‘selfless seva’ ahead.

We have tried to focus our efforts in different domains of the society but with the common purpose of endless serving the society
HEALTH
Here, we aim to focus on not only the physical heath but also the mental and emotional health. Various camps and sessions take place throughout the year to promote a healthy environment as it is rightly said, ‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.’
EMPOWERMENT
Here, we strive to empower not only the women but also the physically challenged, visually impaired and differently abled people. We firmly believe that a country cannot develop until and unless its citizens are empowered and developed.
ENVIRONMENT
The focus is to protect and improve the indispensable part of every one’s life.Through drives and awareness programmes, we strive to make the people sensitive towards their environment.
EDUCATION
Education is the most important tool to make this world a better place to live in. Therefore, we endeavour to impart voluntary education to underprivileged students and mentor them to become the torch bearers of the society.
